Suede to reform for one-off London gig
“Suede are to reform to play a one-off gig, NME.COM can confirm. The band’s former label head, Nude Records’ Saul Galpern, said that rumours that the band, who originally split in 2003, are getting back together are true. “It’s [for] a one-off gig,” he told NME.COM. Several news sources including The Quietus and The Sun are today (January 15) stating that the reunited band will not feature Bernard Butler, who originally quit the group in 1994. Instead, Butler’s replacement Richard Oakes is set to feature in the line-up. The band will reportedly play London’s Royal Albert Hall as part of the forthcoming Teenage Cancer Trust shows, whose patron is The Who’s Roger Daltrey.” (via Suede to reform for one-off London gig | News | NME.COM
